Moscow authorities may control aesthetic quality of graffiti
Moscow authorities are considering setting up a council which would be responsible for checking the aesthetic quality of the city’s graffiti.
The council would also be removing graffiti that doesn’t meet aesthetic standards. Examples of positive initiatives in other European cities, according to a representative of the Moscow City Duma, include Lisbon where graffiti copies of paintings are exhibited in the city’s museums.
