Missouri bar slammed for serving ‘Michael Brown’ six-shot cocktail

A bar in St Joseph, Missouri, is facing criticism after it started serving a ‘Michael Brown Special’ cocktail involving six shots of Jose Cinge, supposedly in reference to the fact the teenager shot in Ferguson on 9th August suffered six bullet wounds. The bar received a backlash on social media after a picture of the drink offer appeared online. Protesters also chanted with signs outside the bar on Saturday. The bar has since rescinded the drink offer and apologised. ‘It’s not meant to cause any harm,’ the owner of the Mug Shots Pub said. Read more: washingtontimes.com
