Man drives into Christmas market in France

A man drove a van into a Christmas market in Nantes in western France on Monday. Eleven people were left injured, five were seriously hurt including the driver, while another person was in a critical state. The man’s motives were not yet known according to a ministry spokesman. This comes after another incident on the weekend where a man drove his car into pedestrians injuring eleven in the city of Dijon and was shouting ‘Allahu Akbar’ (‘God is greatest’ in Arabic).Read more:
