Major exhibition in Louvre of Bulgarian culture

A new exhibition called ‘The Epopee of Thracian Kings: Archaeological Finds in Bulgaria’ will be held at the Louvre from 15 April to 20 July 2015. According to the Culture Ministry of Bulgaria, 1628 exhibits from 17 Bulgarian museums will be on display in four halls of the Louvre. Two Bulgarian and three French curators have selected the items for the exhibition. For the first time, full burial complexes and customs of Thracian aristocrats from the Odrysian Kingdom will be presented. There will also be a focus on urban culture. Read more:
