Lovesick elephant goes on the rampage in southern China
A wild elephant went on a rampage in southern China over the weekend after he was rejected by a potential mate.
Local rangers said the bull wandered out of a nature reserve in Yunnan province after losing a battle with another bull over a female elephant. Video footage showed the distraught elephant smashing cars and scaring away visitors before giving up and heading back to the reserve. Around 14 cars were reported as damaged, but there were no injuries and visitors were told they would be compensated for damages to their vehicles. Read more: abc.net.au
