A group of winemakers in St Tropez in France are angered over the decision to name their 2015 rosé vintage Mist, which translates to ‘dung’ or ‘manure’ in German. Mist is the acronym for Made in St Tropez but some of the winemakers, including the former vice-president of the collective, believe it is an insult and that the name will ‘shock all Germans’ and work against the image of St Tropez, which welcomes all Europeans.
