Las Vegas ski resort ready to open … pending snow

Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort has been forced to put its fifth of December opening date on hold until further notice due to a lack of snow. Weather conditions have been warmer than usual for the snowsports destination, located about an hour northwest of Las Vegas. The resort will have a new chair lift and a snow tubing course when it eventually opens for the season. Read more: skift.com
