Lack of snow delays ski resort openings in France

Several of France’s ski resorts have had to delay their opening due to a concerning lack of snow so far. Snowfall from November has already melted away in some of the most popular resorts. The Courchevel resort originally planned to open this weekend but has now delayed it until 13 Dec, while Montgenevre near Italy has postponed its opening indefinitely, like many others. Read more:
