Küstendorf Film Festival kicks off in Kusturica’s movie-set Serbian village

The eighth Küstendorf Film Festival is being held from 21 to 26 January in Serbia. The festival was founded by famous director Emir Kusturica and its focus is on young filmmakers and international authors. There is a competition programme, with the Golden Egg award for the best film. The festival also features workshops and music performances.  Küstendorf is held in the mountain village of Drvengrad, which was built for Kusturica’s movie 'Life is a Miracle'.
