Korean Air VP steps down after nut scandal

The vice-president of Korean Air and daughter of the company’s chairman has resigned after an incident last Friday in which she forced a crew member off of a plane because she was unhappy with the way she was served nuts. Cho Hyun-ah stepped down on Wednesday and the airline apologised to passengers of the New York-Seoul flight, who were delayed when the plane had to return to the terminal during after Cho’s outburst.
