Kenya: zebra escapes crocodile only to be eaten by a leopard

With the Great Migration currently taking place in Kenya’s Masai Mara Reserve, there is typically a lot of action on the Mara River, but nobody could have expected the drama that unfolded on Tuesday.

In a scene reminiscent of the famous ‘Battle of Kruger’, a zebra escaped the jaws of a massive Nile crocodile in the depths of the river, only for it to fall prey to a lone leopard when it finally made it to shore. The leopard was then forced to defend its prey against three more crocodiles. Read more: governorscamp.com
