Kenya tourism numbers free falling despite improved security

Lonely Planet WriterDespite improved security and government marketing campaigns, international tourist arrivals in Kenya for the first eight months of 2015 are down by 18.4 per cent compared to a similar period last year.

The latest data was released by the Kenya Tourism Board. These figures show a troubling trend as last year was also down almost 20% from 2013 arrivals. The UK continues to dominate international arrivals by market share. Read more: allafrica.com
