A JetBlue plane had to abort its takeoff at JFK Airport, New York, after another aircraft crossed the runway without clearance.

Flight 1295 to Austin, Texas had been given the go ahead for takeoff on Saturday evening and was rolling down the tarmac at full speed when the pilot was forced to jam on the brakes, revealed JetBlue spokesman, Rick Clark.

The New York Daily News reports that there were no injuries following the incident. The JetBlue spokesman also pinpointed a Caribbean Airlines Flight 526 as the plane which crossed the runway without authorization. No one was available for comment at Caribbean Airlines while the Federal Aviation Administration did not immediately respond to requests for a comment on the incident.
