Japanese universities to train up volunteer interpreters for international events

Seven foreign-studies universities in Japan will be part of a plan to train up thousands of students who can be deployed as volunteer interpreters at upcoming international sporting events being held in the country, such as the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
