Jakarta restricts business hours for entertainment venues during Ramadan

Nightclubs, spas, massage parlours and bars in Jakarta have been forbidden from operating during Ramadan, which begins on Thursday. Other kinds of entertainment venues across the Indonesian capital, such as karaoke bars and billiard halls, will be allowed to operate with limited business hours. In addition, restaurant owners across the city have been urged to install curtains on their windows as a sign of respect for those who are fasting. Read more: thejakartapost.com
