It's never too late:Tennessee centenarian makes her first trip to the ocean

Proving that it really is never too late to travel, a 100-year-old woman from Tennessee has made her first trip to see the ocean. Ruby Holt, who turns 101 in December, mentioned the fact she had never seen the sea to her assisted living carers while at a water gun activity held in the summer. The home then organized an all-expenses-paid trip to the Gulf of Mexico where Ruby was able to dip her bare toes in the ocean for the first time. 'I’ve heard people talk about it and how wonderful it was and wanted to see it, but I never had the opportunity to do so,' Ruby said. Read more:
