Indonesia to ban sale of flight tickets at airports

Purchasing flight tickets over the counter will soon be banned at airports across Indonesia. The nation’s Transport Ministry claims the move will reduce crowds and get rid of ticket scalpers at terminals, yet critics argue it would make it harder for passengers who want to buy tickets at the last minute for emergencies. Airport management and airlines have been given three months to comply with the new rules. Read more: channelnewsasia.com
