Croatia’s Zlatni Rat beach, which is famous for its distinctive long narrow spit pointing out to sea, has been left misshapen by two days of 70km/h winds.
The strong winds and waves that buffeted the island of Brač bent the white-pebble beach back on itself, almost forming a spiral shape.
The good news is that the change isn’t permanent - it has happened before and the beach always straightens back out in the end.
