Huge triumphal arch unearthed in Rome

Archaeologists have unearthed the remains of the huge triumphal arch of Emperor Titus, which once formed the entrance to the Circus Maximus chariot-racing track in Rome. There are now plans to launch a €1 million project to rebuild the arch, which in its heyday would have been 17 metres wide and 15 metres long. Read more:
