Hotel rates skyrocketing for Super Bowl Weekend

According to a study by CheapHotels.org, most of the hotels in Phoenix, Arizona, have been booked up for Super Bowl Weekend, leaving football fans scrambling for last-minute bookings for the 1 February 2015 event. The hotels with remaining vacancies are taking advantage of the situation and charging high rates – with one hotel charging over 900 percent of its usual nightly rate. There are a few remaining budget options with rates under $100 per night, but the study notes that these hotels have received poor ratings from customers. Read more: cheaphotels.org
