Hollywood makeover for Tasmanian town

The township of Stanley in Tasmania’s northwest has been almost returned to normal after filming for the Dreamworks production The Light Between Oceans, starring Michael Fassbender and Rachel Weisz, ended last week. Tourists have already started to flood in and locals are meeting to discuss how to capitalise on the international attention. The cast and crew for the film were said to be impressed by the town's spectacular scenery and warm hospitality. Read more: abc.net.au
