Ho Chi Minh City to host month-long ao dai festival

A festival celebrating the traditional national dress of Vietnam – the ao dai – is set to run in Ho Chi Minh City throughout the month of March.

The festival includes a ‘Charming Ao Dai’ contest that will see 500 women participating, plus cultural performances, and various museum exhibitions and events. Visitors will be able to purchase ao dai and related accessories at discounted prices at local tailors and stores throughout the festival period. International visitors can also take part in an ao dai decoration contest later in the month. Read more: thanhniennews.com
