Hijab-wearers denied access to Egyptian resorts

The unofficial policy of restricting access to veiled women has reportedly been in place for a while at some Red Sea resorts including Sharm el Sheikh and Hurgarda, but has recently started coming into effect at Egypt’s North Coast resorts too. The ban has been described as “discriminatory” against hijab-wearing women in Egypt, which has an overwhelmingly Muslim-majority population. Read more: alarabiya.net
