Harry Potter frenzy continues as Hogwarts Cafe opens in Islamabad
A Harry Potter-themed cafe opened in Islamabad, Pakistan earlier this week.
The new cafe has opened following the release of the much-awaited book Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, sending the world into yet another Harry Potter frenzy. The Harry Potter-themed, and aptly named, Hogwarts Cafe is located in PWD, near Bahria Town in Pakistan's capital city. The cafe will delight fans with Harry Potter-themed uniforms, music, furniture, and even a quirky food menu.
Potions (non-alcoholic drink mixes) on offer include Wolfsbane, Butterbeer and the Tongue Twister while meals on offer includes the Half Blood steak, a Hawaiian Horcrux and a Godric's Hollowed burger. The kitchen is named after Harry's first love interest Cho Chang.
The cafe decor is themed after the Great Hall in Hogwarts with candles hanging from the ceiling and old school books on the shelves. The walls are covered in Harry Potter memorabilia from framed photos of movie characters to magical objects pinned to the walls.
Pick your table carefully as you will find miniature Harry Potter figures such as the Sorting Hat and Hedwig depending on where you sit, as well as dedications to characters who have died in the series such as Dumbledore or Severus Snape. Fans can also purchase Harry Potter merchandise such as time turners, snitches or a classic mug!
