‘French Spiderman’ to climb Dubai’s twisted tower

Climber Alain Robert is set to scale Dubai’s 75-storey Cayan Tower this Sunday. The twisted design of the tower and its overhang is likely to make it a tough climb, even for the experienced Frenchman. Robert is famous for having climbed many of the world’s iconic structures without a harness, including the Eiffel Tower, Empire State Building and Sydney Opera House. In 2011 he took on Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. Read more: thenational.ae
