Are you feeling brave enough to set sail on a four-day Walking Dead cruise?
If you're a brave soul who isn't fazed by post-apocalyptic horror television series, the Walking Dead, you may be interested in an immersive fan convention at sea that is due to sail in February 2019. The fourth sailing of the Walking Dead-inspired Walker Stalker Cruise will be the final one, and it will give 2500 fans of the hit TV series a last chance to mingle with their favourite celebrity guests.
The cruise is inspired by the AMC comic book series written by Robert Kirkman, which portrays life in the months and years that follow a zombie apocalypse. The four-day voyage will take place on board the Norwegian Pearl, and it will sail round-trip from Tampa, Florida, to Nassau, Bahamas. Presented by Walker Stalker Con and Sixthman, the 2019 voyage will include stars from the show like Norman Reedus (Daryl), Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Negan), Ross Marquand (Aaron), Tom Payne (Jesus) Chandler Riggs (Carl), Laurie Holden (Andrea), Cooper Andrews (Jerry) and Michael Traynor (Nicholas).
As well as the regular cruise activities, fans will get to enjoy photo ops, costume contests, autograph sessions and live music, as well as scary themed nights and eerie activities. Those on the cruise can also avail of the ship's facilities, which include 16 dining options and 15 bars and lounges, a well as a bowling alley, casino, spa, video arcade, pool and hot tubs. Upon arrival in Nassau, you can opt to relax on a white-sand beach, stock up on duty-free treats or explore the area.
The Walker Stalker Cruise will sail on 21 to 25 February 2019. A pre-sale for previous participants will end on 13 July, and the general public will be able to book a stateroom starting at that time. Further information is available from the official website here.
