Food truck pilot project launches in Amsterdam
Amsterdam has launched a project to allow culinary entrepreneurs to set up food trucks across the city for a period of two years.
It’s hoped that the trial will create more diversity in the city’s street food scene and provide opportunities for innovative food ideas to flourish. Fifty food trucks will participate in the pilot project at 24 locations across Amsterdam, and the criteria included ensuring the food offering was different from what is already on offer as well as the healthiness and sustainability of the food.
