Florida man fined for feeding the homeless

A 90-year-old man has been charged with the offence of attempting to feed the homeless in a park in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He now faces possible jail time and a $500 fine. Police, who were enforcing a new law in the city which bans the public sharing of food, stopped the man, who was handing out four plates of food to homeless people. In response, the man said, ‘I'm not afraid of jail. I'm not looking to go, but if I have to, I will’. Read more: cnn.com
