Famous WWII Royal Navy submarine found near Corsica

The HMS Saracen, a famous Royal Navy submarine from the Second World War, has been found off the coast of the French island of Corsica following a two year search. Italian engineer, Guido Gay, carried out the search on his catamaran and released photos on Monday of the submarine lying hundreds of metres below the Mediterranean’s surface. On August 1943 the HMS Saracen was scuttled close to Bastia, Corsica. Read more: telegraph.co.uk
