Tibet: Mount Everest base camp to reopen

The base camp for climbers attempting to conquer the north face of Mount Everest has reopened after the the deadly earthquake which hit the Himalaya on 25 April.

Everest can be climbed from both Nepal and Tibet, but roads leading to the base camp in Tibet were severely damaged in the quake, and the camp was closed to climbers following the disaster.
