€20 service charge on €10 bill sparks outrage in Italy
Extortionate service charges at a bar on the Italian island of Capri have caused outrage across the country when a photo of the receipt went viral on social media.
The customer, with three companions, had ordered four coffees at €2 each and a croissant at €2.30, but was shocked to receive a bill for over €30, once a service charge of €5 per person had been included.
