LA ponders tougher water saving sanctions for drought

Covering your swimming pool (to prevent evaporation) and watering your lawn less are two of the new initiatives introduced by Los Angeles mayor Eric Garcetti to help the city cope with California’s severe drought. For the time being the proposals are not compulsory, but if water usage doesn’t drop significantly over the next year or so then enforced regulations will be brought in. Read more: dailynews.com
