Surreal Ibiza pop-up dining club to open for 77 days

The stars have aligned on Ibiza this summer, where three unlikely business partners have come together to launch an exclusive dining club described as a ‘dream turned into reality’.

Top Spanish chefs Ferran and Albert Adrià, the founder of Cirque du Soleil, Guy Laliberte, and acclaimed Japanese contemporary artist Takashi Murakami are behind the pop-up restaurant, which will open for just 77 days to coincide with the peak summer season in Ibiza. The project, called ‘Heart’, includes sculptures drawing inspiration from Japanese manga, multimedia installations such as a virtual garden, and a huge terrace decked out like a street market. The spectacle comes at a price: access to the terrace alone costs €100, while dinner and a show will set diners back €315 per person. Heart took two years to plan and will be open until September.
