The popular Dora Observatory, which offers views of the Kaesong Industrial Complex in North Korea from telescopes, will be moved to a new location to accommodate the 800,000 visitors it receives each year. The current observatory, which was built in 1986, will be replaced by a 3000-square-metre facility slightly northeast of the current location. Construction on the new facility is due to start this summer and it will open in 2017.
