Dog-fur hats found on Berlin tourist stalls
Following an investigation by Berlin newspaper BZ, a number of street vendors operating tourist stalls in the city have had their stock seized by officials for testing after it was found at least one trader was selling hats made of dog fur.
It's illegal in the EU to import, export and sell items made of dog fur, and the vendor will be fined if found guilty. Meanwhile, other vendors claim that their stock has been confiscated unfairly, insisting their fur hats are not made from dog fur. Read more: thelocal.de
