Delta's $175m expansion at JFK revealed
Delta Airlines new $175 million expansion at its terminal at New York’s JFK provides 11 more gates, making it easier for passengers to move between flights.
The 75,000-square foot expansion was carried out as Delta committed to be New York’s No 1 carrier.
Delta senior vice president Gail Grimmett explained: “New York is the most competitive market in the world. Our commitment to be New York’s No. 1 is very significant and there’s investment that goes with that.”
There are 11 new gates in Terminal 4, most of which will be for Delta’s regional routes and carriers.
Further developments has seen Delta expand by adding jetways to all T4 and Terminal 2 (T2) gates, Travel Pulse reports.
This all comes as part of a $1.4 billion investment at the airport.
