Footage from a car’s dashcam captured dramatic footage of a herd of angry elephants attacking a moped driver in Khao Yai in Thailand.

The footage was posted to Khao Yai national park’s Facebook page asking for the banning of mopeds from the national park in order to prevent further and potential lethal incidents.

The video shows a man on a moped slowly trying to make his way through a herd of grazing elephants, when they suddenly charge him. The man leaps off the moped and is seen to clasp his hands as if begging for mercy, while the elephants continue to charge and gather round him trumpeting angrily.
