No more amour: Montreal officials don't want love locks on bridge

Montreal officials aren’t in love with the padlocks appearing on Old Port Bridge.

Couples are attaching the padlocks to the bridge and tossing the keys into the river as a symbol of their enduring love, but city officials want them to stop. Citing the bridge’s weight capacity, city employees are frequently removing the locks. Read more: cbc.ca
