City looks to silence San Francisco tour bus operators

San Francisco city council is looking to ban tour bus operators from also delivering running commentary to passengers using microphones. While many companies offering hop-on, hop-off tours of the city already have a separate employee telling passengers what they’re looking at, some still use a driver holding a mike and this is what the Board of Supervisors is looking to stop.
