Chapman’s Peak Drive closed due to mudslides

Chapman’s Peak Drive, one of Cape Town's most popular attractions, has been closed to the public following major mudslides. The scenic route is expected to be closed for the remainder of the week while crews investigate and clean up the slides at the Noordhoek end of the drive. The Western Cape Government, who are monitoring the situation, said the safety of motorists and other road users is the most important priority. Read more:
