Celebrate Thanksgiving in NYC at a 1620s-style English pub—for free

Chef April Bloomfield, of the famed Spotted Pig restaurant in New York City, has teamed up with the National Geographic Channel in a promotional venture for the network’s new miniseries, Saints & Strangers, to create a Thanksgiving-inspired English pub from the 1620s.

Adventurous diners can head over to the pop –up restaurant to try Salted Beef sandwiches and play traditional Native American games from that time period, including Adowiz, which is similar to darts. The food, drink, and entertainment are all free, provided you are willing to stand in what will likely be a lengthy line to get into the restaurant. Read more at: gothamist.com
