Cambodia records ‘fishing cat’ for the first time in 12 years
An endangered ‘fishing cat’ last officially recorded in Cambodia in 2003 has been spotted again, according to conservation groups.
There had been fears about the future of the species, but images of the cat were captured on camera in national parks in Cambodia’s southwest. Both a male and female were apparently sighted.
