On Thursday, the city of Buenos Aires celebrates the legacy of late tango legend Carlos Gardel with dance, music, visual arts and other cultural events. The Tango de mis amores programme runs until Saturday, with main activities being held at the Casa del Bicentenario cultural center. A milonga (tango dance party) will be held at the Palais de Glace in the Recoleta neighborhood from 7pm. An exhibition of objects from the Carlos Gardel collection will also be featured at the venue.
