Paralympian forced to drag herself off Qatar flight

Athlete Claire Harvey has complained of being forced to use chairs like ‘monkey bars’ to get herself off a Qatar Airways flight, after the aisle wheelchair she required was not provided.

The Team GB Paralympian had been competing in the javelin and discus throwing games at the IPC World Athletics Championships in Doha. After landing, she says she was left on the plane for 15 minutes, before being treated disrespectfully and  ‘manhandled’ off it. Read more: bbc.co.uk
