British ambassador gives thumbs up to Nepal travel
The British ambassador to Nepal, John Rankin, has joined the ranks of public figures encouraging travellers to return to Nepal.
The ambassador and Gail Marzetti, head of the Department of International Development, posed with placards saying ‘I AM IN Nepal NOW’ while trekking in the Annapurna region on Saturday as part of a social media campaign to show the world that Nepal is open for travel. The hashtag #NepalNOW is being used to raise awareness that Nepal is open for tourism after the earthquakes in April and May this year. Read more ekantipur.com
