Bolting horse injures four at Palio in northern Italy
Four people were injured on Sunday at the Palio festival in Rho, a town near Milan in northern Italy, when one of the horses in the race through the city centre was spooked by the sound of the drums and music.
The bolting horse galloped along the Via Madonna, injuring several people, including its rider. An 85-year-old man was seriously injured after being struck by the horse’s hooves and hitting his head as he fell to the ground. Read more: thelocal.it
