Bob Marley family develops cannabis brand to sell in the US

The legacy of global reggae icon and Jamaica’s greatest export, Bob Marley, is about to be enshrined in the world’s first global cannabis brand. Marley’s family is working with a Washington-based company in the US to create and launch the brand, which will be called Marley Natural and include a range of cannabis-infused lotions and creams, as well as other accessories.

The range will be sold in the US, cashing in on the recent move to legalise cannabis use for recreational purposes in the states of Washington and Colorado. Marley, who died of cancer in 1981, was a high-profile supporter of cannabis and its healing properties.
