Bergen gallery to reprise Nazi art exhibitions
The Kode Art Museums in Bergen has opened an art exhibition which draws upon a number of Nazi art shows displayed before and during WWII.
The exhibition, called Art in Battle, aims to show how the Nazis propagated their warped ideals by showing pieces of fascist art alongside art that was considered to be 'degenerate' under the Nazi regime. Speaking of the exhibition, which includes works by Adolf Hitler, gallery director Karin Hindsbo said, 'Art can be dangerous...Art is a powerful tool that can be used and abused.
