Belgrade museum hosts exhibition on life in former Yugoslavia

Belgrade’s Museum of Yugoslav History is hosting an exhibition called ‘They Never Had It Better?’, focusing on everyday life in socialist Yugoslavia between 1950 and 1990. The exhibition will feature more than 200 artefacts, 400 photographs and 26 video clips. Experts from all countries of the former Yugoslavia contributed to the project. Visitors are invited to interact via social media, to present their own memories or bring their own possessions to the exhibition. The programme includes guided tours, children’s workshops, lectures, theatre plays and more. The exhibition is on until 17 February. Read more:
