Banksy announces first UK exhibition for six years in derelict lido

Graffiti artist Banksy has announced his first UK show since 2009. The Dismaland show will be based in a derelict seafront lido in Weston-super-Mare in Somerset.

The Tropicana lido closed in 2000 but will be reopened for the exhibition, which also features large installations and work by Damian Hurst, Jenny Holzer and Jimmy Cauty. Banksy’s last UK exhibition attracted over 300,000 visitors and generated £10 million in tourist revenue. Read more: bbc.co.uk
